COLUMNAR TREES – Suitable for patios, urban or smaller gardens
CHERRY – Queen Mary A self fertile variety that has been bred for columnar production. Great for pot growing i.e. 20 litre pot, outside or in a polytene tunnel or glass house. This tree still has to be pruned each year to keep in columnar shape and to control the height.
PEARS – Decora Self fertile. Beautiful spring blossoms followed by firm, juicy, aromatic fruit in the autumn. Easy to grow. Stores well.
Saphira Self fertile. Mid season, greenish-yellow fruit, sweet and aromatic, stores well. Frost resistant with good general disease resistance.
APRICOT – Morela Mid-season, self-fertile apricot with large orange fruit with a red blush. Freestone fruit. Frost resistant and good disease resistance.
APPLE Columnar trees are varieties developed to grow in a small spaces. They grow narrowly and upright becoming tall and compact compared to other fruit trees. M9 Rootstock.
